We were introduced to Great American Mobility in August 2015 at the Houston Abilities Expo. Having 2 young boys with a rare mitochondrial condition and in need of an upgraded manual wheelchair for our oldest, and a new manual wheelchair for our youngest, we were desperate.

Our insurance company was being very difficult to work with and had denied various items they saw as non-essential, but items we saw as non-negotiable for safety, such as a push handle and tie-downs. Great American heard our story and offered to help navigate the insurance maze and within a matter of weeks, both of our boys were rolling in some sweet Ki manual wheelchairs!
